भूमाफियाओं की खैर नहीं-जिलाधिकारी जालौन

 भारत का प्रथम पंजीकृत बूमरैंग खेल संगठन, इंडो-बूमरैंग एसोसिएशन पहली बार राष्ट्रीय बूमरैंग चैंपियनशिप लेकर आ रहा है, जो छिंदवाड़ा, एम.पी. के इंदिरा गाँधी क्रिकेट मैदान में आयोजित किया जा रहा है। 

दुनिया भर में खेला जाने वाला बूमरैंग आई. एफ. बी. ए., इंटरनेशनल फेडरेशन ऑफ बूमरैंग एसोसिएशंस द्वारा शासित एक अंतर्राष्ट्रीय खेल होने के साथ-साथ एक आदिवासी उपकरण के रूप में हमारे देश की एक सांस्कृतिक विरासत भी है, जिसे हमारे बहुत ही मनपसंद जंगल के लड़के मोगली द्वारा उपयोग भी किया गया था।

एसोसिएशन के संस्थापक अध्यक्ष श्री विवेक मौंट्रोज़ को बूमरैंग के क्षेत्र में 30 से अधिक वर्षों का अनुभव है, और उनका उद्देश्य भारत के लिए एक राष्ट्रीय टीम का निर्माण करना है, जो अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर पर देश का प्रतिनिधित्व कर सके, और अगले डब्ल्यूबीसी में भाग ले सके। यह पूछे जाने पर कि छिंदवाड़ा में ही इस प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन क्यों, तो उनकी राय बहुत दिलचस्प थी, सबसे पहले, यह कि मोगली, भारत का मूल आदिवासी बूमरैंग थ्रोअर और दूसरा, कि मध्य प्रदेश, भारत का मध्य भाग है।

इस चैम्पियनशिप में लगभग 12 राज्यों के थ्रोर्स के भाग लेने की उम्मीद है।

विवेक जी के साथ उपस्थित लोगों मे मौंट्रोज़ फाउंडेशन के अध्यक्ष और कैंसर रोगियों के लिए दिल्ली फैशन रनवे के निदेशक श्री विशाल, और आईबीए की कोषाध्यक्ष सुश्री परमप्रीत कौर थीं।

The first registered Boomerang sport organization, the Indo-Boomerang Association is bringing together the first ever National Boomerang Championship, being held at Chhindwara, M. P. 

Along with being an international sport played all over the world, governed by the IFBA, International Federation of Boomerang Associations, it is also a cultural heritage of our country, as a tribal tool, displayed by our very own jungle boy Mowgli. 

The Founder President of the Association Mr. Vivek Montrose has over 30 years of experience in the field, and aims at building a national team for the country to represent internationally, and begin with the WBC next year. When asked why Chhindwara, his opinion was very interesting, first, it being the land of Mowgli, the original tribal boomerang thrower of India, as well as Madhya Pradesh, the central part of India. 

Throwers from about 12 states are expected to participate in this championship.

Along with Mr. Vivek, among the people present were Mr. Vishal, President of Montrose Foundation and Director of Delhi Fashion Runway, a fund raiser for Cancer Patients, and Ms Parampreet Kaur, Treasurer of IBA.
